Project Overview

Explores how to add layers of resilience to smart homes and offices by complementing traditional systems with independent sensing and analytics.

This secondment embeds into BRE to investigate how multiple sensing layers can protect smart homes and office environments. The work compares resilience requirements across both domains and designs experiments to understand how independent IoT networks can mitigate cyber-physical tampering.

Case studies evaluate anomaly detection techniques, multi-layer sensing, and the creation of research programmes addressing resilience challenges.
